Stream of Vodka

Lay flat
On your foams and cottons
Close your eyes. Bide the past.
Time flows evermore, forevermore
Never tranquil, never languid
Moments
They are never present
But in capricious memories
Your heart beats on and on
Even in your deepest sleep
So relax
Take some vodka with ice and ice
With scented lemon you can imbibe
Bliss is never veridical without tears
Tears that stay wet 'til you're gone
Buried six feet below the ground
When that day comes
You shall fade, fade, fade
As an echo, another distant reverie
Dwelling in thoughts fragile and
Everchanging as the world itself
